What are some good Forex trading brokerages?
I just learned about Forex in one of my college courses and I’m interested in testing my trading skill. Does anyone know a legitimate broker to start out with? Some of them seem pretty shady.
I currently have a demo account with www.forexmicrolot.com/ and that brokerage claims to have a minimum. If anyone one knows what that could mean as far as margins I would appreciate some help with that as well. Thanks

There are many good forex sites where you can trade on demo accounts as well as live accounts. One of my favorites are:

you may also check your options in this site. it will lead you to one of the leading, legitimate, trusted and reliable forex trading platform. one good feature of the site is "personal service". by opening any of their accounts- mini, gold, platinum or vip- they will provide you a personal Account Service Manager with whom you can talk live over the phone, email or chat and discuss anything you want to know or any strategies you want to develop and enhance. with the mini account, the minimum margin to risk is only $12.50 but of course you may want to note that opening the gold and other accounts would entitle you to better trading features and privileges.
You can find a few options at fx dealer select. They have a comparison of several firms and also some deals for pip rebates or deposit bonuses. Even if you don’t sign up through there it is a decent info source.
